Michael Atkinson

Michael Atkinson is Sales and Marketing Director at ELEY, the Sutton Coldfield manufacturer of the world’s most consistently accurate .22LR rimfire ammunition, and has more than 50 years of hands-on shooting experience.

Over five decades behind the rifle and pistol, and years working alongside ELEY’s engineering and testing teams, he has developed a deep practical understanding of what separates competition-grade rimfire ammunition from the rest — how batch consistency, velocity spread and lot testing translate into results on the target. He writes on ammunition selection, accuracy, and getting the best performance from ELEY products, drawing on both long personal experience in the discipline and direct knowledge of how ELEY ammunition is made and tested.
