It has been a busy month for teamELEY athletes, Federations as well as competitions from all around the world.
European Championships 2024, Győr, Hungary
The 2024 European 10m Events Championships were held from 24th February to 3rd March 2024 in Győr, Hungary.
These events are important in uniting the shooting sport community.
With shooters arriving to compete from across the globe, the ultimate goal is to bring countries / athletes together through sport.
Olympic Quotas
teamELEY athletes, István Péni (Hungary) and Maciej Kowalewicz (Poland) came away with quota places for the Summer Olympic Games in Paris from their performances in the Men’s Individual 10m Air Rifle event.

“March was full of competitions, including the Professional Shooting League, kicking off the 2024 ELEY Benchrest Series in Georgia, with the Precision Woodcrafting Indoor Shootout.
On March 8th: 71 competitors enjoyed the 5-card PSL money match. The top 10 qualified for the 2024 Main Event to take place in September at the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis.
The American Rimfire Association (ARA) held its annual Indoor National Tournaments over two weekends in March.
The Unlimited Indoor Nationals were held at the Chickenfoot Indoor Range in Cedartown, Georgia, on March 9-10, where 89 participants completed 6 targets over 2 days.
The Factory Class Indoor Nationals were held in Prairie, Mississippi, at Prairie Station Indoor Range on March 16th with 38 competitors completing 6 targets”.
Other Successes…
Mario de Graeve (Belgium): Winner of the Benchrest, Landencup 2024, Druten, Netherlands – 750, 57X’s, 250 TieBrk.
Maciej Kowalewicz (Poland): An equal Polish Record in the Polish GP, Wroclaw (3×20) – 592 points.
István Péni (Hungary): In the final of the National 3P competition, Istvan shot a national record (final) of 254.6.
Lazar Kovačević (Serbia): Hit a new national record in Dortmund, Germany in ISAS 2024 – Competing in the Men’s Individual 3P scoring 594.
Sanja Vukašinović (Serbia): Shot a new personal best of 594 and equalled the National record of Serbia, whilst also competing in Dortmund.
Olivia Hofmann (Austria): Won Individual Bronze as well as set a new Austrian team record (1892.1 / 630.7) whist shooting at the Austrian Championships.
Damir Mikec (Serbia) and Zorana Arunović (Serbia): Serbia’s top shooters in 2023 defended their state championship titles in Air Pistol.
Ryan Cockbill (GB): The GB Rifle Shooter secured a Paris 2024 Paralympic quota place after winning gold (R9) in New Delhi, India.
USA Shooting: Mary Tucker, Sagen Maddalena, Ivan Roe, Katelyn Abeln, and Keith Sanderson, qualified in smallbore events for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 after the conclusion of U.S. Olympic Trials- Shooting Smallbore Part Three in Fort Moore, Georgia.
USA Shooting Paralympic team: Earned two medals and two U.S. Paralympic quotas for the Paris 2024 Games while competing at the 2024 World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) New Delhi World Cup.
