In April, the 2024 USA Shooting Rifle / Pistol Junior Olympic Championships took place at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado.
The Championships provide a platform for the next generation and future of international shooting sports within America.
Every athlete that competed had to qualify at a state level competition, before receiving an invitation to the Colorado Springs competition.
The first half of the competition was for Rifle events, with Women’s Air Rifle, having a total of 178 competitors represented across an incredible 42 states.
This was followed by Smallbore Rifle, also known as 50m Smallbore Rifle Three Positions (3P).
There were a total of 89 competitors from 40 different states competing in Women’s Smallbore. Gold and Silver went to past ‘ELEY High School All Americans (EHSAA), Emme Walrath (Gold) and Katie Zaun (Silver) – both competed with ELEY Tenex.
Braden Peiser, also an ‘EHSAA’ graduate, was crowned a two time Junior Olympic Champion in the Men’s category, whilst also using ELEY Tenex.
We are glad the ammunition worked well for you all when it mattered most, congratulations!
The competition then moved over to Pistol disciplines. The weeklong competition consisted of five different events, where over one hundred junior athletes competed for their shot at a ‘JO’ title.

ELEY High School All American Team, 2022-2023
ELEY were in attendance at the competition, with Key Accounts Manager, Michele Medige naming the 2023 ‘ELEY High School All American’ (EHSAA) Teams.
Since its inception, ‘EHSAA’ has identified the most outstanding scholastic rifle shooters in the country, who have gone on to NCAA programs, membership on the US Team and even, the Olympics!
Air Rifle Team: Elijah Spencer, Camryn Camp, Makenzie Larson, Bremen Butler, Katrina Demerle, Elizabeth Probst, Ashlyn Blake, Claudia Muzik, Rylie Passmore, Tyler Wee.
Smallbore Rifle Team: Elizabeth Probst, Katrina Demerle, Carley Seabrooke, Ashlyn Blake, Rylie Passmore, Camryn Camp, Bremen Butler, and Danjela Jordan De Jesus, Tyler Wee, Jack Ogoreuc.
