ELEY welcomes Rob Collins to the team as an ambassador for all things small game hunting. Focusing his efforts on pest control, Rob will be field testing and reviewing our .22LR hunting rounds, ELEY subsonic hollow and ELEY high velocity hollow, as well as giving his tips and advice for hunting in UK.
Having first taken up shooting aged just 3 years old on his uncle’s farm, Rob was hooked. He spent his following childhood years hunting rabbiting with ferrets and learning about game keeping. Today, Rob is a celebrated countryman, conservationist, journalist and renowned game chef. It’s these impressive shooting credentials that make him perfect for the role.
Recently launching his seventh book, Rob has written about everything from game recipes to tales of hunting in the field. He’s also keen to pass on his experience and enthusiasm to the younger generation and runs Pass it on young sports – a volunteer, non-profit organisation to encourage young people into the countryside and into field sports and conservation.
Speaking of his first experience using the award-winning ELEY subsonic hollow, Rob commented: “Wow now they grouped like nothing else. Ten shots all through the same hole, not a clover leaf, nope all ten through the same hole.”
This strengthens ELEY’s line-up of outdoor ambassadors as Rob Collins joins ELEY veteran Mick Garvey.
To keep up-to-date with both Rob and Mick’s hunting adventures, make sure you’re following ELEY outdoors on Facebook and Instagram.
